Earagail Arts Moves Into the West


We are very excited to be going west for the 25th Anniversary of the Earagail Arts Festival.

There will be a host of theatre, music, comedy and workshops from Monday 8th till Sunday 14th July.  
For the family, events like Seacht ScéalCartoon Capers, Open House and Spraoi, will provide premiere performances, interactive workshops and innovative stories that the whole family will enjoy for only €5.
The award winning and hilarious Where did it all go right? is a fabulously funny performance by the Irish company Ponydance 11th – 13th July in Dunfanaghy, Ranafast and Derrybeg.

On the 14th July at 8pm in Áislann Rann na Feirsde, Aisteoirí Ghaoth Dobhair presents four one act comedy plays relfecting love, life, marraige and death. This event is suitable for all ages and is priced at €12/€10.

The Boat Factory, 12th July, 8:30pm stops at the Holy Trinity Parish Hall, Dunfanaghy, as part of its world tour. Hailing great reviews this show is bound to be a sell out event. Tickets €12/€10.

The Glass Album Exhibition will feature at An Gailearí Gaoth Dobhair, with new work by a number of leading contemporary artists including Walead Beshty, Matt Collishaw and Eoghan Mc Tigue. The work is inspired by the 19th century archive photographs by Derry Photographer James Glass relating to the famous 1889 “Land War” murder trial of the priest Fr. Mc Fadden from Gaoth Dobhair

Music and traditional events will happen throughout the week in a host of venues and locations throughout West Donegal, including our flagship event in Carrickfinn, Abhaile – The Homecoming 13th July. The last remaining tickets are still available at our box office and at Carrickfinn Airport.
